mhoc - just seen your post re bras - and laughed as David wrote what I was thinking .... that tipping moment as you get older....lol. And re OH just ignore him ... works a treat with mine. Failing that blue tac moulded into a man shape and a pin
Re free bra fittings - - this shop may interest you as I know you bob down this way now and then....
Last year at the McMillan race day event in York -the following company supported some guests at the event in more ways then one. I was lucky enough to have been one of them to be given a free set of underwear and from feeling fat and frumpy with my new shape from the treatments and asking for industrial strengths sucker inners.... SA convinced me they could get me something racy. I wasn't convinced but she was on a mission. Anyhow they did and restored my joie de vivre.....:j
Compare this with Debenhams fitting the same week where more weight meant bigger sizes - an horrendous beige 38D monstrosity recommended! They were lost in there I can tell you and made me look like Nora Batty  (for those who know me until recently I have always been a 32A or 34A) - be careful what you wish for I wished for bigger....:rotfl:
Anyhow these wonderful ladies measured me as 32DD or 34D. Re your what is a cup size question they take into account the different shapes of women's boobs and with different brand fittings. (From half moons to teardrop shapes if you get my drift). They also spent an hour making sure my niece had a good fitting at a subsequent visit - more tricky as droopy teardrop (she'll kill me) so not all brands suited.
I wouldn't pay full price but they often do half price and once you know your size they have on line sales too. Last year if you brought something you were given some cards with your customer number on to distribute to friends - if they went in for a fitting and handed in your referral card you would get £10 voucher....... So went in with niece who handed in card - she brought a bra in the sale and then within a week I got my voucher and sale still on so went and got another one for me - half price minus £10. Not sure about online tho.
Definitely get measured before ordering as totally different from what you will have been told in other shops (niece was 32 FF not 36 C she'd been told).
The shop is LEIA and there are 3 - York (near big Mr Shoes in town centre), Bluewater, and Cardiff.
http://www.leialingerie.com/find_a_store.aspx
Last few days of their current 50% off sale .... worth bobbing in if you have the chance and live near enough - or if you already know your size in these brands.

Due to be delivered tomorrow. It was due to be delivered 11-12 but MIL wanted it at 1-2, so I went to change it and now it's saying unavailable0 -

I know but OH is in charge of it and I've left him to it. Discounts and OH are never used in the same sentence. Opposites attract and all that. Will let you know about the wood.

No no, this is 'buy in M' or Tvs M. Please don't get it in A!
There am I - not a salesman for A after all (after flogging some Orange lollies yesterday:rotfl:). I'd love you to try Tvs M on it - we could have a nice field-day (well, not as much as that), outside of Northern Ireland, on this item if it goes compare £1.75 vs 48p and thus gives a very helpppful boost towards a cond.spend and a T PP back. Price in A is undoubtedly more than 48p, so you'd be paying whatever more it was (sure it's not there signed out? Or on there for A for someone?). May be only found in certain M stores so may be better to go to T for that reason, as your M's might not stock it if they are not big enough and T available to more people in the country (that said, sort of an 'obscure' item(?) that might not be in quite a few T stores (of the 'Extra' type) and is it showing only signed out on msm for T for me?).0
