fairclaire wrote: »Yes he does SD. Especially a pain of I buy stuff like apples etc. which are fine way past the BBE dates. I try and get rid of the packaging so he can't see the dates
He's ok with the frubes being frozen after a mammoth discussion about freezing and how it suspends the dates
I'm glad I'm not the only one who's had that discussion, he used to think that even if it was fresh then frozen you still had to use by the BBE dates on the packaging. He nearly had a canary a few weeks ago when I served him chicken goujons that I'd frozen on purchase but my dad noticed the BBE date was the month previous and commented. It was like the Spanish Inquisition followed by him double checking the food safe website and our freezer rating to see how long it was safe to freeze for. I'm just glad the frozen pizza is out of original packaging because I'm sure it's well OOD!

Post 396 doesn't have the list for T V M - help!
It had been moved back to post number 370. :eek:That's how many posts have been deleted!
Care though on Tvs M as some of the offers included in that list have ended yesterday in M (dare I suggest check msm for those details:eek:). In short need to run whole list through msm to see that M prices haven't increased on there (I know msm not relevant to T PP:p but it's the easiest way I can think of to identify what was, yesterday, showing as valid until 27/4).
I think T have been known to update T PP details a lot earlier in the week than the APG. So I wouldn't try expired M offers on T PP today.
Meanwhile... on APG vs M, I would!:D (For now.)
I wouldn't be going for the Bart Lemongrass anymore (Tvs M) as its price may have changed this week. Of course, many Avs M items (to that extent that M hasn't changed its price today) may also be good for Tvs M, although you don't get the 10%. But not, repeat not, the Pepsi or the Quaker Oats:rotfl:.
Tvs M: The Maxwell House coffee looks to be off for example. Shot back up in price at M. I found a further item yesterday that I don't think I mentioned or included on Tvs M originally: Hayward's Red Cabbage 445g - it was £1.89 vs £1 M - however M have now gone up to £1.89 so, while it still may be comparing to £1, it may not be. Now £1 in Sains., so now moved to Tvs S (presumably once T PP 'catches up' with sains.co.uk).
I also have T's Choc Sponge Mix 400g hanging around on my saved Tvs M basket - I wonder why? Is that still a good Tvs M item or has it increased in price? So - anyone going to M - watch for M's Chocolate Sponge Mix of between 360g and 400g, if it exists at all! (It may have been an N/A filler before, in which case need to check T's price hasn't gone up!:D) Savvy-tempter in any event, so avoid:rotfl:.
Okay, folks, I can't be here the rest of the afternoon, so see you later! Bye!:)0 -

My Mum's the same.
A lot of people do it.
