Evening - or is that morning? to anyone still around.......
Thanks for the new thread, I feel a little bit late joinging the party again but have had one hell of a s**t weekend of it.
Hope you feeling a little better since this post TS.
I'm so glad you have all been filling your (car) boots with Pepsi since that womble I found. Wow, I appear to have been some use. :rotfl: Well that's cheered me up. I did a forum search for pepsi and it does appear some of you have been busy. I hope I can get a chance to shop in the morning?
Unfortunately I've had no hope of getting any as yet as Mum has been in an awful state, worse than ever, even to the point of thumping me earlier when I was moving her, as she refused to move her feet when standing and I just had to lift her back on the bed myself before dropping her. Then shouting at me for 'forcing tablets down her throat' when I was putting them in one of her hands, helping her hold the water bottle in the other, and trying to convince her that they are ones the doc she saw half hour before on a home visit had prescribed. (we needed a change of meds.) My other sis is staying over night with my Dad but I don't know how long this can go on for, as at least me n my sis can swap over, but Dad in his mid 70's is getting no break. One person alone wouldn't manage. I know her attitude just now is down to the pain she is in and medication, and she will almost definitely not remember a thing. But how are we supposed to manage whilst it's happening?
Saturday I phoned the local 'emergency' social services. What a joke! I said we needed a commode to be able to cope at all at home, and at 3pm on a saturday their best suggestion was to go out and buy one! After numerous phone calls, and waiting on calls back, (not to social services!) I got a sorry, we can't find one from district nursing team. I followed this up with well sorry, you will just have too!!!!! Got a call 15 mins later saying you can have a loan of one from a local community hospital if you can pick it up, which we did. It was brand new and came out of a store room!
Sorry for my long winded rabble, but I had to get it off my chest. All I hope is that things can start to get better.

Not allowed to sleep?:o:o
I'm awake because I just feel too stressed to nod. Must try to get a few hours of shut eye so will say night night, switch this off, nd have a go.
Got to take car to mechanics workshop in the morning too (water pump gone) after dropping DS off for college bus, Asda is opposite where I drop him so will try to make a flying visit into there for pepsi. Just hoping my sis can get out away from my folks house for long enough to come and pick me up.0 -

Not allowed to sleep because DS2 has a frog in his throat. He's worried that his voice might be breaking early:o and can't sleep. I'm just about to climb in to bed with him and watch 'the artist'

You need a gimp mask, lube, handcuffs, cucumber and a bowl for your car keys to get into a Facebook group;)
Sorry that's just to join my group:D:D:D
Do Whiskas bowls count?SpiralingDown wrote: »I am being naughty and eating a creme egg for breakfast
:rotfl: nice. I had a toffee crisp and a can of red bull - one of those days!
Morning all. All hope of glitch hunting lost today after my rental got a slow puncture from a nail. My hire car company included a kit in the boot to replace it, but with the wrong fittings so I couldn't access the nuts ;)but at least I got to spend 14 or so hours with Emma - will always remember turning London names into filth 'oooh looks like your Cricklewood is Kilburning' and 'I'm going to take you up Shaftsbury Avenue'. Think she got a little King's Cross'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0
