I'm back! What's happening? Any glitches?
I've been in hospital lately having a few tests done and the docs have come to the conclusion is that I have Parkinsons Disease!
Early stages, so hopefully they can stop it getting any worse with medicines. Hay ho, life is always sent to try us.

Used £30 on the beauty double up
£11.25 on Higgedy pies.
£6 off wys £30
I bought some £1 new potatoes before I did my main shop and got £8 off a £50 spend.
Decided to do a £60 shop to get the petrol voucher
I had various other vouchers and my shopping was under £1:T:T:T
I was expecting a £10 BM but despite checking A.Com, I received only £2.96.
Can't check what went wrong until tomorrow but I can't complain....or can I :rotfl:
You can:D:D. (I would!)
You didn't buy electric shavers or stuff like that? Think all electric products are excluded from BM. Check the list of exclusions in the T&Cs. If should still be included, I'd complain! They should still BM - doesn't matter what your coupons were. They are just forms of payment, like cash-in-hand. You're entitled to it - it's their promise. Definitely, as this is a money-saving site, you should go for it (if the products are indeed covered by BM - if so, wouldn't let them take from you like that, when you should have the money-saving that you should have got)!
Rest of post relates to Waitrose (Northern Ireland - goodnight sorry!:wave:)
Alright folks - I did have a bit of a look around Waities on msm but then got diverted - not without cause:D - onto some Oats. Was going to mention some roast potatoes, and then how it was still an expensive way to buy them, in W. Then various (devious:rotfl:, no dare I say) permutations of different ones on different comps. - came to conclusion:rotfl::rotfl: A's 1.1kg Roast Potatoes (frozen) to go to Avs W:rotfl:(vs W itself:rotfl::rotfl:) as a filler. Still working out more expensive than S's mbuy offer of a few months ago (from when they could still be in your freezer:D) - typical my A product (they've done a change in weight since then that sees them no longer having to be 10% off the rival) was out of stock for the entire duration that S product was on offer:mad:.
Other than that, same old, same old. Aunt Bessie Roly Poly savvytempter at 99p. Needing to beat by 29/4 change of prices - probably ending today (28/4) on APG - msm will update APG quicker on the W details than the M prices I feel!:( Think I'll let it expire.
Kingsmill Little Big loaf really seeded 75p vs 65p W (but why would you?) Two of the Youngs Gastro Fillets products A £3.98 vs W at £2.00 (slightly more expensive than vs M at £1.88 from some time ago now). Dolmio Original Lasagne kit 807g A £3.98 vs W £1.99 (check msm later to see it's not changed though). Vitalite spread (500g) still on.
Mixed Peel a 'buy in W' item as on 3 for 2 (may be mixed and matched compared to what you find to be best). Oetker pizzas Avs W just about. But, all in all, things that have been on for a while - perhaps best to let new offers start and then see what's on!
I did notice that Oetker Spicani is showing N/A for A - but wonder whether they do have this instore if on A mbuy etc.?
Rankin Irish Soda Farls 88p - a 'buy in W', N/A in A, but whoopsies might be cheaper. BE 'Omega 3' Fish Fillet burgers 2:eek: pack £1.25 W - buy in W. Waities Sesame Seeds 100g - buy in W on 3 for 2. These are all now short-date offers. Ace Gentle Stain Remover - ah, A do stock it - although not my A:( - at £2.10 (vs W at £1 - doesn't have end-date but check msm).
Alright folks - calling it a night, goodnight!!:wave: NSD for me today, in theory - if I start it after about midday:rotfl::rotfl:.0 -
Just want to say this is an amazing forum, not just for the glitches but the banter as well I've been on here for 2 or 3 weeks & I've been made welcome, had a laugh & a joke & seen some crazy stories you guys have all shared with each other & the good & bad facts of life. It's less like a forum & more like a bunch of mates, loving being made to feel a part of it.
Cheers all

Only a few words -
Pepsi Regular 8 can pack (up to 10)
Quaker Oats 1kg
Spam 340g still a final goer (in 2s) - but check msm to see if A's mbuy isn't there in the daytime morning (ignore the OOS against M's price now).
And post number 17.
Should still be good on Monday morning, beating APG update.0 -
I have Pepsi result due about 11.30pm. Forced myself to go after Savvy's confirmed shop. So hopefully thanks to him and think was Elsie with the womble it first showed on?
I would have gone out sooner but after feeling ok yesterday, have had a bit of a relapse. Woke up this morning with blood shot eye one side and that side of my head hurts.
I am still regularly taking paracetamol but it is starting to not work before the 4 hours is up when I can take more.
So bottle of opened fizz sat in fridge with no one finishing it tonight.
I will pop back to say whether it worked for me but going to have to be another early night for me.
Evening - or is that morning? to anyone still around.......
Thanks for the new thread, I feel a little bit late joinging the party again but have had one hell of a s**t weekend of it.
Hope you feeling a little better since this post TS.
I'm so glad you have all been filling your (car) boots with Pepsi since that womble I found. Wow, I appear to have been some use. :rotfl: Well that's cheered me up. I did a forum search for pepsi and it does appear some of you have been busy. I hope I can get a chance to shop in the morning?
Unfortunately I've had no hope of getting any as yet as Mum has been in an awful state, worse than ever, even to the point of thumping me earlier when I was moving her, as she refused to move her feet when standing and I just had to lift her back on the bed myself before dropping her. Then shouting at me for 'forcing tablets down her throat' when I was putting them in one of her hands, helping her hold the water bottle in the other, and trying to convince her that they are ones the doc she saw half hour before on a home visit had prescribed. (we needed a change of meds.) My other sis is staying over night with my Dad but I don't know how long this can go on for, as at least me n my sis can swap over, but Dad in his mid 70's is getting no break. One person alone wouldn't manage. I know her attitude just now is down to the pain she is in and medication, and she will almost definitely not remember a thing. But how are we supposed to manage whilst it's happening?
Saturday I phoned the local 'emergency' social services. What a joke! I said we needed a commode to be able to cope at all at home, and at 3pm on a saturday their best suggestion was to go out and buy one! After numerous phone calls, and waiting on calls back, (not to social services!) I got a sorry, we can't find one from district nursing team. I followed this up with well sorry, you will just have too!!!!! Got a call 15 mins later saying you can have a loan of one from a local community hospital if you can pick it up, which we did. It was brand new and came out of a store room!
Sorry for my long winded rabble, but I had to get it off my chest. All I hope is that things can start to get better.0
