Interestingly the dog warden came and stencilled on one of the worst offending pathways in white- and for quite a while the situation improved- but now the sign has almost worn away, so poop has returned.
I would love to know when the offence happens because we (I mean other dog walkers too) never see a dog in action. We would be saying something since it gets everyone a bad name.
No, I know the number of dog bins doesn't really affect the amount of dog mess left but my council really is not very good at putting in bins. They are very few and far between. I always without fail clear up but do wish there were more bins so I didn't end up walking a long walk with a bag (or two) of poo.
Someone told me that you are not supposed to put dog poo in ordinary litter bins - not sure if that is true but they are rare enough where I live let alone seeing a designated dog poo bin so I do use themThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -
I once asked someone why they did this. The response?
Translated as: I'm a brilliant dog owner and have picked up after my dog (as I had a witness watching my dog !!!!). I am just hanging it on this branch as I will be back this way in 10 mins and will definitely be picking it up on my return to dispose of in a responsible fashion. I also know that no-one will be around on my return (or will know that I hung it there in the first place) so my dog's jobbies a gud un!0 -

I always pick mine up, but its annoying as mine seems to go around the same place, roughly 5 mins into the walk. The nearest bing to that is about another 15 mins walk. I do carry it there, but it is annoying that there arent more bins around.I know my spelling is shocking  It is alot better than it used to be though :rotfl:0

You couldn't. She's 80 and a bit dotty. Means well I suppose.0 -

Sorry not a funny thing at all (I live in a park so I share your frustrations!) but that phrase just made me laugh.0
