Hi Mojisola, Thanks for your reply,
I want to do the form online as whenever I get it from the post office you can guarantee that I will always make a mistake (I don't know why but this always happens), I have done the forms online in the past and just had the forms sent to home checked them and then gone to the post office and paid there, but now it seems that you have to pay online which I have never done before and I just wanted to check that this is right?

We've renewed two passports recently - we filled in the forms online, they were printed off and sent to us (in one case, photos needed renewing; in the other, they weren't), we signed the paperwork and sent it off with a cheque to the Passport Office.

That is what I thought but whilst I was just applying on the gov website it is now asking for the payment upfront, hence why I thought I would ask on here as I have never done this before.
    Thanks for your reply

It looks as if they've made some changes in the last couple of weeks.

You do have the option of https://www.gov.uk/get-passport-application-form

I saw that one but it is just to send you the forms which is not what I want, but thanks for the link.

It looks as if it's a choice between paying online or having the form sent to you. The way we did it doesn't seem to be there any longer.

That is what I thought but just wanted to make sure it wasn't the wrong website and have to pay again for it. Thanks for your reply
