Just googled it don't think I'll bother

Has anyone tried you gov?? Comments please

I like YouGov, I cashed out once last year at £50 and am up to £28ish so far this year so it's working out a little quicker but it will still be months until I get to the £50 required. A couple of months back I kept getting asked to rate reality TV programmes via my iPhone and enjoyed that, they paid £1 of points a go, most surveys I'm invited to are about current affairs or TV, I do find them interesting and I'm repeatedly asked what I think of this government. I don't do any other survey sites as I work in an industry that always rules me out! Good luck if you go for it, I think so long as you know it's going to be ages (and the payout takes ages once you have reached the threshold) then it's quite good.

I've added £5 something in nectar points, £2 in bank interest and £23 from eBay with a few quid yet to be paid, all after fees and postage.

I've added a homepage to my profile on here and if anyone would like to read my latest post, I would be very grateful, it's not an easy read as it details the poor care my family received in my husband's last week and I've been sharing a lot on Facebook and Twitter today, it has reached the office of the shadow health secretary on Twitter. :T I appreciate this is not strictly MSE per se but it certainly gives an insight into why I was unable to work for a good while and part of the reason I've felt I've needed to wise up to being a lot more frugal, thank you so much if you can read, you have to click through to my profile and see the link to my homepage.

I recently joined YG and so far it seems ok. I have been getting one survey a day and they aren't very long or tedious so I'm quite pleased :)

And I am so pleased the Mortgage has finished as had to buy two new cars :eek: Both our cars failed the MOT miserably and would cost a fortune to fix.So have had to bite the bullet and get 2 new ones.Well new to us :rotfl:

But the good news is they are both much more economical than the old ones so all good there.
I also got a £10.13 refund as my insurance was cheaper.

So am a panicky now as the savings account has dwindled big style :(
So I will be staying with you all for the long haul :rotfl:

Oh Mav - poor you. I know the feeling as that's where a lump of our money was swallowed last November - still at least you'll make some back by cars being more economical :D

Had quite a good day. We went to H***B*** to get paint for kitchen, bathroom, hall and study/bedroom to get the Bank Hol discount of 15%. The D***x paint is 3 for 2 also and they gave me a card to do a survey and get another £5 voucher (did earlier) so altogether saved/made £40.48. Then £3.25 on weekly shopping input sites means £43.73 for today YIPPEE :T

Hope you all have a super BH Monday - I'm working :(

Hi SJ - your referral link needs to go on the gift hulk referral page on the referrers board.

I do gift hulk, the cash out is higher than sb, but you need to be careful as some of the videos overlap with sb and other sites, like instagc so if you do them in one you may find, you can't do in another.

I'm glad that this weekend's efforts seem to have paid off!

    I did a Roamler task for £7.50
32 items listed on eBay - 5 sold and everything else is relisted. I'm so mad because I was listing so many and on my last item I was charged almost £4 in fees - my fault for clicking confirm before I read it. Gr. Everything ends tonight, and I'll relist them for 5 or 7 days later.
Two items sold on Facebook - one already collected, the other one will be collected tomorrow.

Phew :) I've been working outside this morning for an hour, it's a lovely day! We're off to go and make use of our Cineworld Unlimited cards this afternoon, so I'm going to quickly apply a coat of varnish to the outside table then make us some lunch and pop our own popcorn (25p a bag from Home Bargains) instead of paying £5+ at the cinema for some popcorn.

Hope everyone has a great day!
