Soozy, did you use the "completed grid" link? If so, were you logged in to PB before clicking on it? We are trying to establish whether the "completed grid" link works since the site revamp.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -
Morning, all.
The first thing to say about the Mobyko problem is that it doesn't seem to be widespread. Only six people sent any details to me.
However, amongst those people, there is no common element.
People were using either XP (version given only once) or Vista (version not given). Both IE (version given once, as 7) and Firefox (version given once) were being used. No indication of any Macs, nor use of other browsers.
One correspondent said that s/he had been able to enter multiple times a day - the opposite of the more common difficulty!
Adding the experiences of Mrs DS and myself, I can report to PB only on the strength of eight members.
The obvious conclusion, though, is that it is something at PB's end. Is it a question of multiple servers each behaving differently? (Remember that we receive our daily quiz updates at slightly different times).
I'm afraid I can't be of much more help than that! Perhaps one of the more tech-minded posters can shed some light.
Thanks to the MSE-ers who contacted me.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930
