Lost passport

I leave for France in 12 days.

I can't find my passport.

I know what I have to do if I can't find it tonight, but I need reassurance that I will.

IT IS IN THE HOUSE (somewhere)
IT IS IN THE HOUSE
IT IS IN THE HOUSE
IT IS IN THE HOUSE

please reassure me!!!!

I will check there, but my suitcase is used for storing winter clothes at the mo, and I'm sure I've seen it since. But thanks, I will check.

Can you sit down and try to remember the last time you handled it. Did you need it to fill out an application form?
    Where is your E11 card?
Do you have any foreign currency in a drawer somewhere?
I find the use of a dowser useful on these occasions. Straighten out 2 wire coathangers, bend 1 end over at right angles so that you can hold it in your hand. Hold a wire in each hand out in front, concentrate on the image of the passport and go around the house slowly asking the question 'is my passport in this room'. The wires will cross over if you get a positive result.

When you are desperate you have to take the risk of everyone thinking that you have lost your marbles.

Have a lovely time in France.

This happened to me once, I looked everywhere then eventually I remembered that I had to take it somewhere to prove my ID and so I found it in the car..........

Have you had to take ID anywhere? Open bank account....?

where's the one place in the whole house you would put things away safely?

Check in your car (if you have one) in the glove coparment, try your safe, try under or around your computer, try in hand bags or near swimming gear... try your filing cabinet if you ave one, or the place you put shopping vochers or bills.

Sit down and have a good think of all the places it could be.

***** My dad lost his driver's licence somewhere in the house. I was convinced it was somewhere in the car, but even when I cleaned his car while he was away (it was filthy!) I still didnt find it! *******

But you WILL find your passport! :)
