PCN Costco Liverpool 71days passed just received letter?

Options
Hi just wondered if somebody could help me.

I received a PCN on the windscreen for overstaying at Costco in Liverpool. This was on the 12.2.14 I followed the instructions in the newbie thread and waited for a letter to arrive in the post. I thought this was never going to happen as day 56 passed, however i received this letter today 24.4.14. it has now been 71 days, can they continue to remind/demand payment as the cut off day has now passed? so confused. Thanks.

yes they can , from the driver , not the keeper, as they have not met POFA 2012 so the RK is not liable after day 56

appeal it using the template letter in the NEWBIES thread and as RK inform them to chase the driver, and you have no intention of telling them who that was ;)

Just send the template letter now and add a point #4 that they have missed the deadline for POFA 2012 so no keeper liability applies.

    Same as here:

  • Exactly the same car park, currently have a charge within the 14 days and a charge as a Notice to Keeper letter ( but received within the time) Like already stated this is a free car park, and I was not taking up a space in a packed out car park so wasn't preventing anyone from parking. How can I appeal?

With only a part time job I really can't afford the £70 and £30, how can I win these?

Thank you to anyone who can help. I so scared this will be taken to court

As ever, this is covered in the sticky thread at the top of this parking forum - which is why I wrote it. Use the 'form jump' (bottom right) to hop to page one and see the current threads including the top one which tells you how to win. We can't do these individually and there is no need. Last year it got silly as we could not keep up with all the ''help I have got a private parking ticket, what do I do?'' threads so I wrote a sticky thread begging newbies to 'read these FAQS first'.

Some PPCs cancel when they see the appeal template from the NEWBIES thread, and if not then the sticky tells you how to win at POPLA and explains what that is... :)

DO NOT REPLY HERE PLEASE AS THIS IS AN OLD THREAD. Read the top thread on the forum first then if you have to, start your own thread.
