Elite Management invoice

Hi all

Here is a background on a fake PCN received on my car. Basically £2 was put in machine for 4 hours, driver returned just over 3 hours later to check remaining time and found a ticketed windscreen for overstaying. Upon inspection of the display ticket it showed fee paid £1 for 1 hour. Driver is 100% certain £2 fee was paid but obviously no proof. Car park well signed with warnings of PCN etc

So after reading the newbie section I am currently one week into waiting for notice to owner. Thought I would start this thread so that I can keep it updated as events unfold.

Couple of questions if that's ok

1 how much success has been had getting a pcn cancelled asking for proof that the car was ticketed

2 what reputation do Elite Management have. E.g how far do they usually go, how watertight are they normally.

3 I've tried google but can't find out who owns the car park, any ideas where to find out

4 how many cases actually end up in court and what are final costs likely to be if you lose.

I know the last one is jumping ahead but just interested to know. If it had been a reasonable invoice I might of paid but these scumbags are just thieves and bullies

Thanks for any help in advance :grouphug

1 how much success has been had getting a pcn cancelled asking for proof that the car was ticketed NONE that I can recall. That's unlikely to be a POPLA winner.

2 what reputation do Elite Management have. E.g how far do they usually go, how watertight are they normally. Doesn't matter as you will beat them at POPLA using our wording. They are ex-clampers I think if you Google them - so not a good reputation!

3 I've tried google but can't find out who owns the car park, any ideas where to find out Not worth pursuing if you can't find it on Google. Concentrate on the appeal winning like all ours do.

4 how many cases actually end up in court and what are final costs likely to be if you lose. Costs are tiny at small claims (e.g. an extra £50 - £75 is fairly typical) but it doesn't matter - no cases can go to court once they are won at POPLA - and we win at POPLA.

We do win at POPLA. That's why we can be confident. But it's important not to be complacent so if you could show us a picture of the signage wording on site we can tell you whether you can use the 'no genuine pre-estimate of loss' appeal point. It wins every time when the signage is worded to say the PCN is for 'breach' or 'failure to company with t&cs'.

Just remove the http://www part of the web address and we can do the rest to make it clickable

  • Thanks Stroma

This one is the sign behind the paymeter. The first was at the car park entrance

So you get an invoice for parking at your own risk pmsl, also what happens after 5.30pm as parking charges don't appear to apply then, is it all free? Plus £4.50 for card payments is excessive
