Morning
I have just been looking at my clarity cc and when i applied it was £5 a month back if you spend over 300. I also do that but for the past few months its not been credited. Does anyone know if this has stopped being paid? i know its no longer available to new customers just wondered if it had changed from existing customers?
Thanks in advance

I still get it.0

Are you still funding and using a Halifax Reward Current Account, believe this is also a condition to get the £5 CC reward?0
-
Yeah halifax is my current account and that gets the £5 a month. I will have to look into it as unless something has changed its current account, spend £300 and pay it off?0

Actually looking through it all i have never had the £5 cash back. Does anyone know when the deal went? I can't find an actualy date when the offer was pulled.0

The deal wasn't pulled it is still current and available.
Here are the T+Cs in particular see section 11

Having said that I too am having difficulty in getting the £5 reward paid.
I opened the account at the end of January. I called then to make sure I would qualify for the reward and was told yes if I met the conditions.
The first reward payment should have been paid in early March. I didn't receive it so I called and was given £15 compensation plus £1 for the phone call and £5 for the missing reward payment. The missing reward was then credited to my account on 27th March but dated the 10th the day it should have been paid.
I have not received the Reward payment for April yet it should have been credited on the 10th.
I will have to call them again.0 -

I've been trying to sort one of these out all day. I already have a clarity card, and was told in branch this afternoon that the clarity rewards card and the clarity card are the same thing, and they couldn't work out why I wasn't being paid the £5 reward (as I have a reward current account and use it as a main account). They told me to ring up the credit card customer services to which they told me that the information I got in branch was incorrect, and that they are 2 separate accounts (hence why I wasn't being paid the reward).
Did a bit of further research on it, and if you go on the halifax website, navigate to clarity credit card, then look under common enquiries.. Bottom question is "how do I apply for a Clarity Rewards Card" the answer is to go in branch! Anyone else think I'm going round in circles here...? Shall be going back in tomorrow and presenting my findings, also got the name of the guy I spoke to.. He advised to get them to give him a call so hopefully will be resolved soon!0 -
...but did you meet the eligibility criteria at the time you applied for the Clarity card?...rjtolhurst wrote: »...they couldn't work out why I wasn't being paid the £5 reward (as I have a reward current account and use it as a main account).11.2 To be eligible for the reward set out in condition 11.1, you must, at the time you enter into this agreement:-
(a) hold a Halifax current account and pay in £1,000 or more each month;
(b) use our switching service to move your current account to a Halifax Current Account and agree to pay in £1,000 or more each month;
(c) open or hold a Halifax Ultimate Reward Current Account.

Ahh, that could be the reason, no idea if I was earning that, as got the card back in 2010. Guess the best way to do it is to cancel the current contract and enter into a new one?0

Be sure to check how long the wait is. I can't remember if it's...rjtolhurst wrote: »Guess the best way to do it is to cancel the current contract and enter into a new one?
1. 30 days
2. Final statement plus 30 days
3. Or maybe they've changed and now it's something else?0
