O2 broadband takeover by Sky

I had my broadband with O2. Recently O2 sold this section of the company to Sky. I got my first bill today and I'm being charged £5 per month for NOT having Sky TV and £2.50 per month for not having Sky Talk! Is this legal at all? I can't believe I'm supposed to pay for NOT having these services. I'm currently looking into other providers as I'm not putting up with this rubbish.:(

I am puzzled by what the issue is here.

I also have been moved to SKY. I was on a discounted O2 tariff which brought my broadband bill down to £13 per month.

I was confused by all the items on the bill that SKY had sent with the charges for not having certain SKY services, but when I wrote them all out in the correct date order, my total for each month still came to £13.

No matter how they add charges to make up the amount, I am not paying a penny more than O2 had been charging me.

IIRC O2 customers were offered a deal if they transferred across early.
I'd suggest OP discusses this with Sky, or requests a MAC which should get them talking to retentions.
