Mis-sold (?) TalkTalk

First post - hoping that someone might be able to advise.
I took out TalkTalk essentials package back in December 2012 and have just discovered that I've been paying for a £5 mobile phone booster for over 12 months.
I logged on to my account after receiving an email about the price changes only to discover the £5 booster giving me 1000 calls from landlines to mobiles each month.
Looking back over my account history it appears the booster was put on my contract at the start and was free for the first three months. I don't ever remember asking for the booster. We don't actually have a landline and never planned to have one. I opted for the package as it was the cheapest option with unlimited broadband.
I've looked back through my emails and I do have one from talktalk from Feb 2013 saying that my free mobile minutes boost is coming to an end and that I need to turn it off in order not to be charged. Needless to say I didn't pay the email any attention at the time.
I realise had I been less complacent i wouldn't have wracked up all these unnecessary charges - hopefully I've learned my lesson. However I was wondering whether anyone knows if I might still be able to get hold of the original call to see how the booster was sold to me. I can't imagine ever agreeing for a mobile booster when I was never planning to have a phone.
Really appreciate if anyone can advise.

Even with a decent company you'd have little chance of a refund. With Three I'd say there is none. You need to keep a closer eye on what you pay for.0
