Tesco Bank Landline

Does anyone know the landline number for Tesco bank have done a bit of research but been unable to find any. Don't want to use the 0845 678 5678 as do not have a BT Landline and the reason I am calling them is because they have sent me two letters which included forms they wanted me to sign and return to them in 30 days. They stated there was an envelope which did not need postage in each letter but there wasn't one.

You can't contact them by email which is also a pain.

That was the first place I visited. If you ring the 0141 number the recorded message states it is for customers abroad. If you ring the 0800 numbers you either get through to the store or club card customer services. They have tried to transfer me but then I get the recorded message telling me the 0845 numbers. I think the moneysavingexpert crew should challenge Tesco about this. A couple of years ago Which magazine challenged them about them not having an email address for banking customers but got no joy. The 0800 numbers only seem to be for the shopping side obviously no customer care for bank account customers.

    Which Tesco product is it?

The credit card lost or stolen number appears to be the same as the customer service number.

    call us immediately on 0845 300 4278 (or +44 1268 50 80 27 if you're calling from overseas)

Are you not using a mobile to call the 0141 number?

0845 678 5678 is the number I need to call. I only have a pay as you go vodafone mobile so only call other mobiles if I can help it. Does the 0141 work on mobiles??

They rang me today while I was out on 0141 537 4000 but when I tried ringing that number it came up as unavailable. They left me a message telling me to call them on 0845 678 5678.

One of my pet hates is any numbers beginning with 08. Love to know what any Tesco bank staff have to say about this.

Withholding caller ID (141) from a land-line usually works or phoning from a mobile as they can't tell if it roaming abroad or not.

BTW probably worth ditching Vodafone for Sainsburys Mobile as they use Vodafone, are much cheaper and are giving a free month just now.

Santander won't let you call their landline numbers from a landline even with 141. But all the bank landline numbers should be reachable from a mobile.

Just a question then what sort of mobile deal you have to work out whether it's cheaper or not.....PAYG might not be the best plan to be on if you need to call banks or other firms a lot.

I have free calls to landlines after 6pm and at weekends and this is the first time I have been unable to contact a bank on a landline or an 0800 number using the say no to 0870 site. My mobile is only for my family to make contact when I am out and about.

Won't it be easier to provide your own stamp and envelope? Remember every little helps Tesco.
