What's the easiest way people remember their MOT date?
Unlike a tax disc reminder in the post, MOT is easily forgotten about (well it is for me lol)

Remember reading on my MOT there was a reminder service I could subscribe to but no doubt that would cost.0

MOT reminder text service printed on the MOT certificates but it is something like £1.50 a pop.
I put important stuff into google calendar that is synced to my phone therefore I get alerts when things come up.0 -
The MOT station I use stick a small sticker in my windscreen with the date on it.0

Not exactly breaking the bank though, I signed up for the current car (which ill shortly be replacing Doh) but mainly I just rely on the oh she seems to have photographic memory for these things.0 -
Whichever garage services the car sends me a letter a few weeks before the MOT is due to remind me.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

Yes, not good if you know you won't still have the car come next MOT time.0 -
I can basically remember when mine are due, though not to the specific day, and I try to remember to keep the "current" documentation somewhere close at hand in case I have to produce it for any reason.
I wouldn't think it's wise to rely on reminders from the DVLA or wherever, especially by post. I'm sure there's a disclaimer that says that not receiving a reminder isn't an excuse for not renewing your VED. And from October, it's not as if you'll be able to look on the windscreen for a reminder of when the VED runs out.0 -
I bought my car in March, it came with a new MOT when I bought it, so my MOT is due in March. Remember, simple.0
