If you go to www.banksafeonline.org.uk you can get forward the email to them and they shut down unsafe sites that link to these emails.0

Whenever I get these they are usually quite amateurish and/or contain spelling mistakes, like spelling the bank name wrong!!
Yes. What I don't understand is why these people can produce quite convincing replicas of the bank websites, but then give themselves away by such clumsy messages.0 -

Me too - all looked dodgy. Nationwide page didn't look right and the Lloyds had a spelling mistake.
Don't give any information.
Sent the Lloyds one to their 'Scam' office, but received no response.0 -
they are all rubbish banks dont contact you via email
Dont contact the bank though through email as they block your account for security- then it has to be unlocked-this happened to me and it took a week to reset it

I had an e-mail last week from Yorkshire Bank, I have SAYE for share options with Yorkshire. Sent it to my home e-mail, without clicking in to any links, and today my spyware said it was blocking a Trojan. I deleted the e-mail right away, but has worried me a bit. They had my correct postal code.
