Is EE customer service below average?

All I can say is send it back and run for the hills!!!!!
I have been a t-mobile customer for a long time and upgraded almost 2 years ago before the switch really took over and I can honestly say they have gone downhill. I will not renew the contract and I am trying to leave early because of the price rise.
I refuse to move over to the 4G as I to get the data I need i would have to have a much more expensive service. The signal quality is worse and i often get call dropped for no reason. The data speed since the switch is worse and browsing the internet can be painful. I believe this is a tactic to get people onto the expensive 4G tariffs.
When ever you use customer services there is often lengthy waits and then you can get some idiot on the other end.
I would not recommend them to anyone, consider one of the pay monthly contracts and buy the phone on finance if you need an expensive contract. Just a thought.0 -
I entered a contract with Orange a little while back and was pretty happy. When the change over happened and I got moved to EE, I was quite dubious about it but so far, they've been great. They've managed to swiftly resolve the two issues I've had so far. The issues I had were strictly my fault (damaged SIM card and locking my own phone) and they were fantastic with sorting it out.
I just want to add that maybe you were unlucky enough to get someone who messed up? If things go wrong, then maybe it's the fault of one or two people than the whole company - if you see what I mean?
For example, if I want a EE employee to send me a new SIM card a.s.a.p and it doesn't arrive, it may be because that particular employee didn't action my request. So rather than blaming the entire company, I'd be more annoyed at that one employee. However, if these mistakes kept occurring then you can pretty much assume the whole company's !!!!!0 -
you moved but its oranges fault u didnt tell them? im not their biggest fan but come onWhat goes around-comes around0
