Out of interest, could someone kindly explain the key issues/points in this case - obviously not what was said in court.?

    Thanks for that.
Why is it being seen as a 'super case' though?

simply because unlike all the other cases this is one case that could and most likely will, end up in the Court of Appeal https://www.parkingticketappeals.org.uk

I don't think anything said in a public hearing needs to be kept hush hush, but as Bargepole intimated we already know what the arguments are, they are always the same. What we don't know yet is what the judge made of them!

I suspect there could be one helluva long transcript and judgment to wade through in due course :).
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I'm presuming this is the case we've all been waiting for?? (several cases being heard together). In which case, keep us posted as I'm hoping for a positive outcome for the benefit of my defence!!

Yes it was the super case!

I just said to a poster on pepipoo that she should write to her Judge and ask again for POPLA instead, in view of the fact this test case will run and run, probably to the Court of Appeal. Stick this case under 'your' judge's nose again if anyone is reading this and has a PE case pending. Push for POPLA and/or a very long 'stay' of your case. 'POPLA would be the most suitable ADR' etc., as shown here:

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=89764

Anyone who can get their case to POPLA instead of court would be laughing.
