I think it was someone else found the N7 2012 at Aldi for £80, but that was likely a one-off.

Tesco HUDL for £119 or less if you have any clubcard points as they are doubled up. I paid £60 cash and £30 of clubcard vouchers for mine.

To be fair, the tech-n-spec calls it a Micro USB. In reality it is a Slimport connector (I think - I may be confusing this with the Nexus 4) which can drive directly an HDMI port (e.g. on a TV) via a suitable adapter.

It seems I am mistaken ... it is not a slimport.

Why bother trying to get a tablet with HDMI, just get a Chromecast instead.

I have a Hudl - you can connect to a TV which is a big plus- picture quality is better via the Hudl than through the aerial!! Before that I had a scroll options tablet got it from T J Hughes for £50.
