Recommend a sweep in Manchester

so have had the stove off for a while now and lloking to get a sweep booked. can anyone recommend a sweep in Manchester, i have a multifuel stove burnt mainly logs and brickquetts but a little smokeless as well.

Also will i need to do or prepare anything and will i need dust sheets ?

    You could try the Guild of Master Sweeps site HERE another would be the NACS but their site isn't working at the moment.

    As far as sheeting off goes - most if not all of us sweeps carry clean laundered soot cloths and dust sheets so it's entirely up to you if you want to sheet up or leave it for us to sheet up.

    Personally speaking I myself only use a hearth sheet and maybe one on the mantle piece, the trick is to make the fireplace as air tight as possible this minimises any dust back into the room, the before preperation often takes longer than the sweep. I don't mind customers sheeting up but I always use my sheets as well as I don't like getting their's dirty not that there is much muck when it's done properly.
