Thought I'd just let you know something that I have just been told by a telephone operator -

I ordered some new bikinis out of the sale - you have to order tops and bottoms seperately. For one of the bikinis the bottoms have arrived but the top is on delay. I have just rung Next to see where I stand because obviously if the top does not come I shall want to return the bottoms but this will probably take me over the 10 days and so I will be charged for them.

The operator referred to her supervisor and their policy is - I can still return the bottoms after the 10 days and I will receive a full refund but they WILL still charge me interest and this will NOT be refunded ( hope that makes sense ).

I did say that this seemed unfair as obviously no-one would want bottoms without the top and it is their fault it is on delay ( being a sale item I may never receive it ! ) To be fair she did agree but it was out of her hands.

Now the top is only 4.00 pounds and so the interest will be minimal so I will risk waiting for it however, you may want to bear this in mind if you are ordering something more expensive.

Does Anyone Know Yet A Confirmed Date For The Mid Season Sale In September?
I'm pretty sure it was the very end of september last year, as it was a few days after my birthday.
I Know Its Not The Whole Store, But i got loads of Bargains In The March Mid Season Sale.

I'm pretty sure last year it was around the 20th September as I remember that it was just before my birthday. It would be good if it was a week later then I could use any vouchers I get for my birthday!

Same As You Joannef, I'm hoping its the 29th as both mine & my daughters birthday will have just passed, if it turns out to be the 22nd, i won't be able to make it as i have her party booked

I telephone about this the other day. During the sale I went over my credit limit. To ensure I wouldn't have any items cancelled ( apparently they check your credit limit when they are sending items out and if you are over, the items are cancelled, no phone call to ask if you would like to pay cash or anything). Anyway I paid £80 off a 0 balance so my credit limit would be + £80. My statement was showing a balance of £125 but when the items that had been returned showed up I would actually be in credit so I didn't want to pay any more.
The girl agreed to put my account on hold until the items I've returned show up so I did'nt have to pay anything and if any interest is added in the mean time they will refund it next statement.

I've had the preview of the Christmas catalogue where you are able to pre-order for delivery in October so I guess the new book is out then, so my theory is that it will be towards the end of this month.
