Doc spoken too, we will worry about the lump if its still there in 2 weeks (she thinks its hormone and stress related)
told off for not chasing the hospital sooner, they are chasing it today should have already been seen.

    What was hospital thing for?
It's all well and good them saying we should chase but I don't think they understand how stressful it can be to have to chase after appointments and co-ordinate our own treatments, especially when some of them are stress related. Not only do people generally feel that they shouldn't be making a fuss or are not urgent enough to be chasing, some of the staff can be really unhelpful. The whole process itself just stresses you out. Whilst I think the NHS is amazing, I do wonder what they have against using the phone or email for co-ordinating between departments/doctors when a patient has more than one condition. rant over.

upshot of that rant was that I don't think you should feel bad for not chasing the hospital - how are you supposed to know it should have happened by now? Bit unfair of the doctors people I think as they are well aware of the strains that the NHS is under, but also nice of them to help by chasing it for you.

In their defense I did know it was an urgent appointment. It's for the TIA as I still have residual weakness in left side.

Psycho cat once dropped a wriggling spider onto DH as he was just waking up.

    DH loathes spiders.

    It's the thought that counts.

it is indeed, perhaps psycho cat was upset with the lack of appreciation for the well thought out present?

Tomcat got told he was a good boy and given a kiss (ever met a cat that actually likes kisses? Tom presents the top of his head for them)

OHs back is really bad at the min, had to help him to the loo this morning, pump him full of painkillers, sort a hot water bottle out for his back and tuck him back up in bed.
