    Why bother?

Just leave it to the new owner to do.

Purely to have it registered and therefore under warranty by the supplier.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

That's what I've done, it arrived today, they take it back tommorrow:eek:, it arrived with a dirty great ding in the side that shows:A:A

That 1st link is interesting but strange, but it is the way I'm looking
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WE-INSTALL-ANY-COMBI-BOILER-LABOUR-175-00-FULLY-INSURED-GAS-SAFE-/131162051504?pt=UK_DIY_Materials_Plumbing_MJ&hash=item1e89de13b0

That actually seems too cheap, (can't believe I've said that), :o:o:o;)

    Bri

Have heard of these and don't know what to say, but Liverpool is awash with RGI's at the moment, I have even had them coming up to me in E Lancs asking for work.

Just checked gas safe is registered under them, but my 15 yr old nephew looks older than him ! There are a number of training centres in Lpool, churning out a lot of registered fitters, with no jobs in the end. So Watch out !

    Cheers Russ.

I did a gas safe check this afternoon, I was amazed how many within a mile of me in Derbys.

I didn't call any, I walked down the road less then 200 yds, 2 are coming to quote soon.

Thery are coming out of the woodwork Bri, everywhere ! lol

Just try and get one, who can give you some other customers to talk to, just to make sure they are decent.

When you said about your boiler arriving today and being dented, that is the problem with deliveries on things like fires and boilers. The manufacturers don't make the boxes strong, as the usual route to market is , Manufacturer to distributor, by pallet, distributor to retailer, delivered on a van, normally on a pallet, into the fitters van by hand to you. It has most likely gone through 3 parcel centres, prior to delivery to you. I received a fire one time, delivered by citylink, which had a forklift truck fork hole right through the centre of the box and out the other, like a hot knife through butter. Also a burner assembly which was ran over by a forklift truck and they thought it would be ok?!

    Hope you get it sorted.

Problem is registered with the manufacturer and will be swapped out under warranty when fitted.

1st guy came round this morning, £300 plus the dreaded which is a very fair quote I think.

Both or these guys I know by sight, just didn't know what they did .

And, they are both in short walking distance, in case I have to go round and burn a house down :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
