I'm in a new built property do my phone line is not ' connected' all the ground work is there just not connected so I need to pay a fee for it to be connected (unless you go with by then it's free)
But all I want is unlimited broadband (with the line rental- to provide the broadband) where is my best deal by wanted £30+ a month for this!

Plusnet are offering cheap ADSL based broadband at the moment. Not sure if the line install would be free or not - go through an order process and see what they are offering. No need to complete the order.0

Is talk talk any good - saw that tv deal included too or have I heard bad things about them?0

Since broadband is exchange specific, no one can tell you the cheapest deal in your area, Start with an exchange search on samknows .comfor your LLU options .No free lunch, and no free laptop

I can only go by my experience with TalkTalk. One of their customer reps (through a 3rd party), lied to me 3 times at the door.
I'm with Plusnet, and find their customer services brilliant.
Go to SamKnows availability checker, and post the results here. We will then be able to help you more.0 -
Certainly in the past when there were plenty of LLU operators I'd always recommend looking at LLU options first but nowadays the mainstream LLU ISPs are only TalkTalk and Sky with the occasional minor player using a third party network other than BT Wholesale's.
I've seen so many bad reports about TalkTalk I'd be reluctant to go with them myself. That said many do and are happy.
Sky are more competetive if you take their TV options which are fine if you want them but hardly money saving.
To my mind the main impact of LLU operator availability is their effect on BT wholesale pricing and so what sort of price third party ISPs can offer unless you are a) feeling lucky or b) are primarily interested in paid TV.0
