primer in the cream end, normal mascara in the blue (if that's what you meant?). the primer really does make a difference to the end effect, i've never used one like this before but am really pleased with it.0 -
Hi There,
Can I suggest something different to mascara, Laura Mercia "Tight line". It fills in the gaps between your eye lashes so you won't lose lashes trying to get your mascara off but it looks like you are wearing mascara rather than eyeliner. It is fairly pricey but because it is applied with a brush that is cleaned rather than a reused wand it lasts for 2 years. If you go to a Laura Mercia counter they colour match you (it comes in black, blue and brown) and you can then try before you buy to make sure it doesn't irritate your eyes. I have very sensitive eyes and I can use it no problems.0 -
For what it's worth, I've tried every type of mascara from high end through to supermarket brand, via organic and everything in between! (See my other posts to see just where this spendy spendy mentality has got me!)
At the moment, I am loving the Max Factor in the grey/cream that is made for brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes etc. The idea is that there are micro pigments in the formula to bring out your eye colour. It really does work! I find, anyway. When I wear it somehow the whites of my eyes look brighter and the the tone of my eyes deeper. Of course, it could just be possible that I am an advertiser's dream!!
The mascara itself is either brown or black depending on your preference but you buy according to eye colour.
Anyway just thought I'd share - I am really into it. I don't normally go for faddy things but I hope they don't stop making this one.
I bought the black ruby for green eyes. I do quite like it actually. Nice wand too. Although I could imagine being able to use any of the tonal mascaras what ever your eye colour is. Even though I have green eyes, I can imagine the one for blue eyes being quite nice too. My only issue is I prefer really black mascaras.
I will probably end up buying all the mascaras people have suggested on this thread. I do like to have a few different mascaras in my kit as a rule.0 -
any Lancome Hypnose fans? it's only £10 at Debenhams today, saving £12.50, free delivery £30 & over. best mascara i've ever used, but couldn't quite justify the price to buy it on a regular basis.

This is the only mascara I use and I love it. Shame I appear to have missed this deal.0
