I have recently found a job ... So yes the state is a little better off!
The above would be funny, if it wasn't so tragic...
To b clear, your "counterpoint" to my post is an anecdote that completely backs up the point that I was making.

Of course. You'd be worse off, but the state would be far better off.
Why would you not want to apply anyway? Surely your pride is worth more to you than a few pounds.
It very often costs the state more to keep someone in low paid, low/zero hours than it costs to just give them state benefits!
No benefit cap, no bedroom tax....the list goes on lol

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.

I stated my personal circumstances and it is true the state will be few pounds better off with me working. But if you read my post you would have seen that I am not in a minimum wage job, if I was my tax credits payments would increase to more than what I would receive on JSA. I also only have the one child, if I were to claim childcare expenses for two, again this would mean I would be taking more from the state than I would do on JSA. So it is true that some people do receive more than the JSA amount even if they are in work.0 -
The advisor is incompetent, he hivrs out jobs eithout checking they ate suitable, he sometimes gives me ones where i dont fit the person specification either,
i think he should be sanctioned for not doing his job properly.:footie:0 -

Well, you can make a formal complaint, if they are not doing their job properly - they are supposed to abide by the rules as well.
