Crystal Travel Scam

Has anyone else tried booking a flight at crystaltravel.co.uk only to find that the advertised price is no longer available? This happened to me last week. But after agreeing to pay an extra £133, the chaotic reservations team failed to respond to my emails, so the following day I booked the same flight elsewhere. Unfortunately Crystal Travel have since confirmed that they booked the flight using my credit card details from the original (fake) booking, so I've ended up with two seats on the same plane - and Crystal Travel are refusing to refund.

There are many many complaints about this company out there already. They are obviously to be avoided at all costs although you also made a number of mistakes yourself, such as booking a second flight without confirming whether or not the first flight had been booked and booking from a 3rd party without doing any research beforehand. Next time book direct from the airline and avoid these kinds of issues.

I booked flights through Travel9 who use Crystal Travels ATOL number and when I rang them about I was fobbed off. They rang me yesterday and said you wanted to book flights so I told him I had through this company that say they are an agent of yours and are a scam he hung up!! Wouldn't use!!!
