Have you any idea how expensive that is ? Neither will offer an online experience .0 -
Morrisons has moved into online already with Ocado. They're starting from a low (non-existent) base so there's growth potential for Morrisons there. It's the same for them with convenience stores. It's going to be easier for Morrisons to grow share in online & convenience than it is for the others to grow or maintain.
I wouldn't expect Aldi or Lidl to be entering the online space any time soon. I wouldn't rule it out one day, perhaps as another partnership with Ocado. The best return on investment for Aldi and Lidl is undoubtedly in opening new stores and continuing to take share away from the others. Considering the difficulty making online profitable (especially now given the promotions & discounts the majors are doing online), I can't see that they would see that as a good place to invest their capital.This is everybody's fault but mine.0 -
i have been given my temporary Match&More card at Morrisons today.. will be interesting to see how their new system works. they make a clear point of matching Aldi and Lidl....but if they are not selling same-brand items, i'm not sure how 'real' that is:think:0

Both LIDL and ALDI have started taking Credit Cards, so it shows they mean business.

I would rule out partnership with Ocado;
“The deal we signed with Morrisons is going to be the first of many. There won’t be other grocery ones in the UK because it’s exclusive,
