Help with insurance replacement which phone

Hi I have to pick from the following and am lost so what would you pick
Galaxy S3 mini
Nokia Lumia 625
Nokia Lumia 820
LG P720
Blackberry Z10

This is to replace a Xperia arc so will be paying £50 excess

    Well, this depends on what you value more.
    E.g. Nokias have good cameras, but different OS.

    The nokia handsets will have good cameras, but considering the handset you are coming from, I think the S3 mini is the one that would be worth considering. However, the 820 also seems like an interesting choice, if you are happy to switch to Windows Phone 8 (Which is good BTW)

    My Opinion?


    Lumia 820... It's getting a massive Windows Phone 8.1 update which includes Cortana (Google Now/Siri Equiv but... arguably better), Action/Notification Centre... a HUGE overhaul of the entire OS.


    It's a 4g phone that supports wireless charging, nokia are great with cameras.


    Give it a punt, if you don't like it... sell it and buy something else? :)

    As the 820 is getting Windows Phone 8.1 that definitely makes it an interesting proposition.

    And now the app ecosystem is unified across all platforms, Windows Phone is a very real option.
