You know full well I was referring to the Xbox and the Kindle. They are things you buy when you can afford to pay outright, not on credit.0 -
OP, do you have home insurance?"Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... [it] doesn't walk in saying, "our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."0

I already mentioned that I suffer from severe generlised anxiety disorder. Why are you being so horrible to me?
I only asked for advice. It was implied that all the things that I have had from buy as you view were non essential. "most if not all"
I already know i've made mistakes and that I am an idiot, I don't need you to tell me that. If I was perfect then perhaps I wouldnt even be on this forum asking for help.
It says at the top of the forum, be nice to all moneysavers.
You can live without a cooker and a washing machine...particularly if you can't afford to buy them. If you ever find yourself needing white goods, other electricals and furniture check out sites such as Freecycle. Don't use companies like BAYV as they do not offer value for money as you've discovered.
If you dig out your paperwork then you will most likely find a checked box saying you agreed to these insurances. Whether this is like the pre-checked PPI boxes that banks are getting their knuckles wrapped for I don't know.
Someone has suggested contacting a debt charity such as Step Change which is probably a good shout.
Posting up a statement of affairs over on the Debt Free Wannabe board will get you some support and advice on how to tackle this debt and any others may you have.
You need to take control of your finances.0 -

Because after you admitted buying non-essentials you gave a facetious reply to someone who pointed out that you'd bought non-essentials...
You have chosen to give your children a far, far lower standard of life overall because of your impatience, as you've paid four or five times over for toys, toys that you did not have to buy for them.
It is not being horrible to try to point out to you how bad an idea this is. You seem determined to argue that what you have done is reasonable, or makes sense, but it isn't, and it doesn't.0 -
I did not intend give a facetious reply. I was only asking a question. I must confess that I don't even know the meaning of the word facetious
You started out by writing "oh !!!!!! ". You continued to write that my actions were idiotic. And then you said you have no more sympathy for me. I did not ask for your sympathy.
I think you could have been a bit nicer about it.
How am I arguing that I am trying to be reasonable when I have admitted that I have already made mistakes?0 -
I am looking at my original contract and I can see that the extended warranty (all sorted) remains unticked and unsigned, along with EPS cover which is also unsigned.
I don't understand how I'm being unreasonable when I am only expressing my concerns about being charged for things that I did not ask for ( or sign for )0 -
stop messing about here and get yourself over to the consumer action group - they have a full section devoted especially to this company and it makes for very interesting reading! - do it now! and start calming all this extra addon expense you've been paying back.0
