EE telling more porkies

I think that EE is telling more porkies :


According to http://ee.co.uk/content/dam/ee-help/e-gain.s3.amazonaws.com/external/content/Ts%20and%20Cs/EE_PAYM_SIMO_v5.pdf - which is EE's PAYG sim only price plan - ALL payg customers are entitled to a free "booster" to allow 3Gb data from "UK WiFi" - further down the page - it changes to "BTWiFi"..
I tried at the time and couldn't connect to any BTWiF signal in Coffee shops or home signals .


I asked BT (last year) - who denied that Tmobile had any agreement to connect to BT WiFi - in fact, when I gave them the Tmobile link - they told me that they were going to investigate....


What's going on here ?
