Orange to Virgin Final Bill

Hi

Looking for some advice I called up orange on the Tuesday 15th and cancelled my connected plan and got a pac code. I am now with Virgin mobile on a sim only deal. (Number transferred yesterday)

I was told that I could only cancel on the 15th not before as this was my billing date. So will my last bill be the last I need to pay I have contacted orange but got no reply and my orange sims no longer work. I can no longer log into my old account online either.

Generally, this was incorrect.

Yes, if there was no any usage that can be reported with a delay, e.g. roaming. Normally you have to receive a final £0 bill and only after this cancel you DD, but I don't know how this works with online billing. The point is, don't rush with cancelling the DD.
