Thanks sussexchick don't worry I will be complaining but it has taught me a lesson to check my credit file yearly as they had been defaulting me for 4 years and I never knew until I applied for a new mortgage
If its any help I signed up with Noddle - its FREE ! you get a monthly email so that you can check the state of play on your credit file (although I wished I had looked at mine in more detail!) pft!0 -

If you're applying for a mortgage and there's a search for a mortgage on file recently it's pretty obvious it was declined.
But no, don't think it would be a big deal if there was no adverse information on file.What will your verse be?
