    And as I said, I used to literally vomit on buses and in cars until I learned to drive myself. (I reckon worrying about the competence of the driver nowadays makes me forget to feel queasy!)

    I've never grown out of it. Unless I'm driving I have those horrible waves of nausea after about 10 minutes.

    I've recently read that closing one eye and looking straight ahead with the other helps some people, but it doesn't work for me!
