Facebook non thanking winners ?

I haven't experienced that personally but have seen it. First time was the daily "Home Bargains" vouchers giveaway a week or so ago.

People where getting really angry and coming up with theories that the winners were fake because of x, y, z as they were not the ones to win. I'm not sure some people understand the game of luck and chance very well.

I think it's just common decency to say thank you , wether its with a tweet (which they'll RT) or a FB post which no doubt they'll like

Doesn't take any longer than the like and share that won you the prize in the first place

I always thank companies for a prize win whether that be an email, a letter or a mention on FB or Twitter. If someone has gifted you something I think the least you can do is say thanks.

I always thank them via Facebook or Twitter. If I receive a wem via email I always email them to say thank you too.

I tend to just thank them in emails ... Once on Facebook when I was announced as a winner.. then thanked the people who tagged me.

I run competitions on my blog and all but one have said thank you (so far). One literally just replied with their address and that was it.. no thank you or anything. The prize I gave away was bought out of my own money too. Makes me angry. I am so grateful for anything I win and I express that in my emails back.. so why someone can't even say thank you, I don't know..

I always thank twice, once when I win then again when it arrives. Possible overkill! I notice quite a few people don't thank via FB but they might not actually see the post and instead just know through DM.
