EE doesn't allow you to freely access itemised bill
Hi,
I need to find out the number of calls I have made to a particular company as requested by an ombudsman and to my frustration I discovered that EE charges you £1.50 to access your itemised bills.
I have never known to be charged for the so called luxury of seeing a complete bill, and I can't help but feel that surely I am entitled to this information? Perhaps I am wrong. Out of principle I do not want to pay £7.50 to view the bills I need. Can I request this under the Freedom of Information Act or anything else? In other words is there anyway that I can obtain this information for free?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

You can download PDFs of your bills for free. Where does the payment come from? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

On EE and T-Mobile you cannot see any calls or texts on the bill that are part of an unlimited allowance unless you pay for paper itemised billing. It's been like that on T-Mobile for many years and as EE have adopted T-Mobiles billing platform the same rule applies to them.
If the bill is already produced you will need to request a paper copy of a "full bill" to be sent to you - this costs £2.50 per invoice.
A subject access request (SAR) would cost you £10...I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
Hi, i think there may have been recent changes to this. Its right what Simax has said that for years you have not been able to download bills showing itemised calls from your allowance.
But i noticed over the past couple of days i have not been able to download any bill whatsoever.
Then i have just logged into my EE (old T Mobile) account this morning and have been able to download a pdf copy of my bill for free. But on the bill it does show all itemised calls that were included in my allowance and even itemised data useage that also is included in my allowance. Never seen this before though0
