Parking fine

Thanks for all this advice, but still not really sure what to do. I parked for 10 minutes in a car park that has private parking notices (which i didn't notice) to visit a shop. When I returned to my car, I did not see a ticket and drove home (about half a mile away.) Later that evening I found a ticket on my windscreen, which I am convinced was placed while the car was outside my home. According to the notice if I do not pay £60 within 14 days It will go up to £100 and if I appeal and lose I will have to pay the full price. Should I still receive a written postal notice and should I wait and risk paying the higher price? The notice is from Cascade Financial Ltd and BPA.

the parking company are part of the BPA, but the BPA have nothing to do with this charge
the PPC or debt collector are listed on the BPA site as Cascade Financial Ltd t/as National Parking Control
suggest you read through that sticky thread you posted in (the one where you should not have posted)
follow the flowchart in post #9
also read, digest and follow the posts in the rest of that thread as it tells you all you need to know about this subject
in theory you wait for the NTK, but sometimes people are told to appeal , still as RK , as if the driver passed the notice on to the RK
never admit the drivers details, or imply who was driving though
ps:- this is not a parking fine , its an invoice from a private parking company

This is not a fine and the BPA do not issue notices/tickets - You need to go back to the Newbies thread, read it carefully and follow the guidance on how to challenge/appeal tickets.
Post the bare bones of your challenge/appeal on this thread to get further help and advice when you have them together.0 -

Will this do?
Please substantiate proof of the claim that this ticket was issued while this vehicle was actually parked in the (L******)car park at the time quoted. I believe the ticket was posted on the vehicle while parked on a public road in a residential parking bay at a later time. Thanks for your help0 -
nope, that isnt an appeal, its asking for proof
the appeal template letter is in draft form in the NEWBIES thread so clearly if you missed it you were skim reading that newbies thread
spend some time reading it properly
the only times they have to prove their case is either to popla or in court0 -

I would stick with the tried and tested wording for the simple 2 stage appeal. At POPLA stage we win every time, 100% record, so follow the NEWBIES thread including how to win at POPLA in due course and you'll be fine, just like all these newbies were:

You appear to have missed the advice and templates which were under your nose right here all the time, so far.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
