i do too. i am so disappointed. the judge actually said that moral and legal rights are poles apart and he did appear to want to side in favour of us but said he was tied by legal laws and that is why he has given us 6 weeks to get legal representation but think we are just going to chalk it down to a financial massive loss and that the big wigs have won as taking it further will cost us so much more and i just can't afford it. i am so so so sad and disappointed0 -

:kisses3: Awwwww, cheer up ...
Just look at it this way. For some reason, it was meant to be. I don't know what is POSITIVE about losing almost £600, but for some reason you were not meant to have that house, and moving into it could have been much more catastrophic than losing this money.
All that said, I still think it's very, very wrong that you lost the money. I am really sorry for you.(•_•)

I totally agree with this. Sometimes these things happen for a reason.
Hope it all works out Parks xNever again will the wolf get so close to my door :eek:0 -

Hi Parks, I really feel for you, it is not right, we also lost a £500 deposit several years ago, we pulled out because we found the build was not going to be as described but got nothing back.
Have you thought of starting a government petition or seeing your MP?0 -

to be honest i have had enough now. i am to not going to pursue as i don't think i have a case. all the positive comments on here gave me the encouragement to pursue it as i thought i had a cast iron case but i realise now that i didn't and it has cost me a further £90. however that is a poor judgement call on my part and i should have just lt it go at the beginning. As they say... hindsight is a great tool!0 -

I am afraid it also shows that you shouldn't take advice from strangers on an Internet forum who have nothing to lose!0 -

Hi Parks, can you give us some more info re. the hearing you had ?
Sounds like to me, you didn't actually have the formal hearing. But some sort of mini hearing before it. Did the other side make an application for you case to be dismissed ?0
