Unlock a Motorola V220?????

Good evening,

Hi folks.......how can I get my Motorola V220 unlocked? (It is with Virgin, and I know once spent £30 will get done free) - just wondered if there was a quicker way to get done?

Ta v much to anyone who can be bothered to read and even respond to my question!

If memory serves me correctly there is no code generating software and the only way to get any motorola unlocked is to gain access to the motorola server where they store the codes.

Now a good few months back they appeared to have allowed access to their server, however, they closed the access and only the phone networks and a few authorised companies now have access....at a cost. There maybe a possibility of getting it unlocked by using a "clip", however, this is usually as much as a network will charge, if not more.

Motorola...... must be unpopular when software engineers cannot be bothered to reverse engineer the phone software to make unlocking software for them.

I must add, not messed with motorola for a long while now so my information maybe outdated and an easy system may be available

Thanks for taking the time to answer me...I appreciate it....if I have to wait until I have spent my £30 with Virgin, then so be it.......it would be nice if I did'nt though!!!
