Mse talktalk deal

As an existing customer of TALKTALK with contract coming to an end, I contacted TALKTALK to see if I could move onto their SIMPLY BROADBAND deal with £50 love2shop voucher that I told them I saw on the MSE site. Advised this was for new customers only so I told them fine I am looking to go elsewhere. Asked to hold on while they checked what they could do for me and came back to say I couldn't get the £50 love2shop voucher but they would give me a goodwill gesture of £50 added to my account to be used against any line rental (I will pay that upfront though to save money), broadband, and call charges. RESULT. That is the first time I have haggled over the phone for anything so really chuffed with myself. I couldn't believe how easy it was I was really nervous but the person I spoke to was really nice and it just goes to show what you can get it only you ask.

I didn't ask for this £50 voucher equivalent- it just goes to show that pricing is pretty flexible to retain customers.0
