Call Estate Agent and tell them you will be calling to collect keys tomorrow and take ID anyway just in case the person you deal with is off or sick.
Call your solicitor and ask them to call the vendors solicitor and say Please call the agent when you receive funds and auhtorise them to release keys.
Even if your lawyer has paid the money out, it does not mean that you have completed, no it isnt, the EA must hear from their client vendor's solicitors and that can take hours not minutes (slow banks, volume of work, laziness forgot etc)
So take ID and patience and sandwiches.:cool:Stop! Think. Read the small print. Trust nothing and assume that it is your responsibility. That way it rarely goes wrong.
