    Haggis suppers.
    Square sausage.

I think my arteries are quite glad actually.

You can get square sausage in Farm Foods for £1.

Farm Foods square sausage isn't a patch on the real thing.
I've got a Ma Broon cookery book that's got a recipe in for lorne sausage but I haven't made it yet.

In the Lidl recent "German week" ( 3rd -> 9th April ) they didnt have the flour , but they did have packets of Spatzle noodles and a couple of other different varities of egg noodles. If you go in now they may have some left over from this promotion ?

Was in Lidl at lunchtime - and they had quite a lot of packets left of Spatzle noodles, so may be worth your while having a look in your store.
  • Seabrooks crisps are from Bradford, so up north.

I'm not sure which area they hail from but plenty of Seabrooks crisps here in the south (too many in fact:o).

I miss cockles and laverbread. Jars of cockles aren't the same as fresh ones from the market.

Pleasing to see that welshcakes and bara brith available in Aldi.

The seabrooks factory is here is Bradford. I always thought they could be bought through the uk though.

Derbyshire oatcakes. I always bring a dozen or so back with me when I go and visit family. A fried breakfast jut isn't right without one.

I live in Berkshire but we bring back Haslet and stuffed chine from family visits to Lincolnshire plus proper sausages.
Oh and why is Scottish tablet not available everywhere.

I went without 'proper bagels' when I moved to Cardiff for 2 years - those supermarket bagels should be banned! If you're looking more authentic kosher food delivered, there's these guys based in Manchester http://titanics.co.uk/

I've been introduced to Staffordshire Oatcakes by a friend from Stoke.. those things are great, but you just can't buy them anywhere.
There are variations of Staffordshire Oatcakes as there is no single correct recipe. The biggest mass producer (North Staffs Oatcakes of Chesterton) supplies Tesco and other big supermarkets locally and they are great, but the ones which Aldi stock locally (Povey's?) are horrid (IMHO).

The freshest ones are cooked to order in local oatcake shops while you wait but since the demise of the pits and many of the pot banks (china factories) there are fewer stand-alone oatcake shops left now.

Pikelets are great too especially the ones with currents in. Yummy!

Tablet is quite easy to make yourself!

Oh gosh, living in France there is a lot I miss!! Everything from Robinsons squash (though I'm not fussy any squash would do), irn-bru, lorne sausage, good black pudding, potato scones, galaxy chocolate, super noodles.... I could go on!
