Smart Meter Query

My present deal with BG ends at the end of May, and I'm looking around for the best deals. Do any other energy suppliers support smart meters because I like the idea of just paying for what I use and don't have to worry about overpaying or underpaying direct debits. Do any other supplies use this method of payment?

First Utility.....I have just changed to them in the last week.
They offer the best tariff for my consumption.
On the online application form one of the questions was 'Do you have a Smart Meter'
How long it will be before they actually fit one is another question.
It may not work for me because I have appalling mobile phone reception at my house & I believe they work using the same technology ??0 -
Some suppliers offer monthly bill tariffs, I'm on one with BG.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
