Not really sure where to put this or what to call it...
I moved from O2 to Sky in Feb and I've noticed over the last few mths the amount of adverts on certain websites is crazy, used to read about others complaining about pop up and other ad's and never knew what they where talking about...
Has anyone else noticed more adverts since the move to sky BB? Or have I somehow changed setting on my macbook to now enable these ad's?
How do I turn them off its annoying, I google say weliies then look at say facebook and in the sides there's adverts for things I've just googled.... I don't like it

Look at the adverts that come up, in the corner usually at top right you will see a little logo, pale blue triangular, move your mouse pointer over it and it should show "adwords" or similar, click on the logo which should take you to the site that will allow you to optout of targeted ads, you will still see ads, but should not be what you have been searching for.
There are a number of ad services,
here is one for a start
