Parents.. how much slack can you cut them?

Do you blame your parents for losing custody? would you have lost custody if they had been there? If they died, would you feel guilty that you hadn't spoken to them? Only you can answer your own question as to whether you will send them a pic etc of your child. My opinion is that life is too short to have arguments, make up, send a pic of baby, but don't live in each others pockets.

As someone who doesn't speak to their father, I would have to say you need to strongly consider why your kids would stop talking to you. If I behaved how he has towards anyone else, then I wouldn't be surprised that they wouldn't want to have anything to do with me.
