Morning everyone.
Not done any catching up yet but wanted to let you all know i'm now in very good mood! :T:T:T
Have to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU :j:j:j
to at least 3 posters on here who said to me the other day to print out my Argos emails with my order for the Tonka's on, and take it with me when I go to collect, and they should honour the price.
They hardly battered an eyelid at changing the price to pay from almost £60 to under £15. Well that was the amount I had expected to pay when I ordered.
Then the next THANK YOU goes to the OP who posted about the £10 Argos voucher for £5, which I kept hidden in my purse till I was told how much to pay.
Total paid £9.97 for 3 Fire Engines. Will have happy nephews, and a friends GS, when their birthdays all come up in the next couple of months.

Emily_Rachel wrote: »Hello, we find Mayo a bit too rich for potato salad and coleslaw too. Have you tried half plain yogurt and half Mayo as a base? The Mayo can be any kind you like - even the extra light low-cal kind works. We also use this a a base for dips. Just add a few chives and maybe some chopped parsely and you have our favourite dip. Yummy, but not too rich, so takes the place of sour cream dips in our house.
Here is a recipe I like for coleslaw. I make this at least once a week, yum!
1/4 small red cabbage
1/2 small green cabbage
1/2 carrot, shredded
1/2 red onion
zest of 1/2 lemon
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil (I use less than this tbh)
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Pinch or 2 of chilli flakes
Directions
Remove any tough outer leaves from the cabbage.
Trim the core and any tough stems from the cabbage and thinly slice.
Add to a bowl with the shredded carrot, onion, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, honey, salt, chilli flakes and black pepper. Toss to combine.
Serve this right away for more of a salad, or store it in the fridge overnight for a slaw that’s more pickled.0 -
TrulyMadly wrote: »Tough love is the right approach sometimes Rose. What a wonderful daughter you are......and I'm sure deep down mam knows this:o
I know I am a good daughter and also a good mother. She never says thanks you to me or my sisters but when you hear her talking to my brothers or their children its a different story. She does not even talk to my children nicely even though my dd was an absolute godsend when Dad was ill and often stands in for me. Roll on Tuesday cant wait.
I will do what I can for her but have to think of myself now as I dont think it will be long till a baby arrives for me to help with.0 -

Morning all.
I don't think I will be needing a duvet day today. :j
Feeling much better.
What's with all this bouncing and wiggling today? :eek:0 -
Good morning elite. I haven't been on for ages, I've been lurking. Rl getting in the way. I found a receipt last night and I notice that one of the 1.75l bottles of coke was missing from the apg.
They are 3 for £3 but compare to sainbo 70p back on 2 bottles on apg :j
I hope that helps someone.:j
Thank you all for your hard work!

Right I think my T's list is good to go, total £40.13, MOC's £14, pay £26.13 and £10.00 price porkie back.
Now do I have time to look at the A's list before I have to go get DD
This shopping lark isn't an easy business :rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Yes that's the right ones. 125ml tubes 3for £5. Others had reported the vouchers won't scan against the half price offer.
Off to get some more at the weekend as I'm sure toothpaste won't go out of date!
and do these compare if doing a PP shopI'm confused

Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
