I don't find them funny.
I find his comedy on another level. People find him smug, smarmy....etc because that's the comedy, that's the intention. I think he's basically so good at playing the role, people believe it? Probably a better actor than comedian?
Did you catch the AWKWARD moment when Bill Turnball asked him what condition 'Derek' had?it was squirmy
:rotfl::rotfl:
You are so right, it is a very personal thing, my OH thinks he is hilarious, and probably for me the problem is I can't tell when the comedy has ended and he is being himself or just acting.
Poor Bill, it was a bit squirmy, and like me I don't think Bill got when he was acting or not. I just think he tries too hard.0 -

My womblees again - as I continue down my new obsession of criticising their shops - one of them has got 20 items. With them, though, is that still scraping 8?:( Oven tray, oven tray, oven tray, pizza tray, all do not count:(:(. They've gone for three times hopeless non-comp. cheese rolls again:mad: - why do they all get cheese rolls and same three, has Mr A got an advertising campaign on its cheese rolls or something? The Wispa Gold - 3 at 60p and therefore 3 for £1 making it 33.3...p vs probably 60p each elsewhere:( is bound to ruin it. They've got a £5.00 Surf - but have they got the same version as the one that's on at £4.50 in T or have they got the hopeless Sunshine Meadows version that's outside at the front of the store?!?:(:( No prizes for guessing which...
Shop I had yesterday had 99 items on it, but still failed to get the 8 required:(. They bought 76:eek::eek: packs of A's SP Spaghetti - must run a catering business or something - but 76?!?! With the numerous other duplicated items on the shop, they got the Spaghetti packs with 6 other different items, in other words total 7:mad::mad::(.
Either that or they leave their receipt one month after they did their shopping!:mad: 23rd March I've got! No hope - I've got the 'older than 28 days' message:(:(:(.(:rotfl:Who knows? Maybe some of the others will come up favourably.)
Buying in bulk seems to be in fashion. My womble tonight had 72 cans of coke,6 cucumbers ,11 limes,5 mini rolls at £2 each,4 bags of sugar,11 baguettes and one lonely watermelon.:D:D0 -

I thought the office was utter brilliance and apparently he's taking it on tour with David Brent being a 50 year old !!! H*le:rotfl::rotfl:
I'd love to see it0 -

72?!?:eek::eek::eek:
Just ridiculous (as well as an expensive method of buying:rotfl:). I had one with 10:eek: baguettes the other day. I've counted(:rotfl::rotfl:;)) 7 different items on your womble there - the stores know this, from their data, that many shops do not reach 8 different items and fit the qualifying item number very precisely and scientifically to be to their best advantage, like I said yesterday.0 -
