    We need more GPs.

We need more doctors in this country.

They set up a few new medical school some years ago and there are increasing amounts of Indian, Pakistani and Eastern European doctors coming to work in this country. This was to try and increase the number of doctors in the UK; there is still a shortfall.

Medicine is getting better; patients are living for longer.

With the increase in numbers from the ageing population; things can only get worse.

I have 50% of my slots free for emergencies on the day; they're booked by 08:01am.

I drive past a few surgeries on the way to work; all have queues.

    :eek::(:eek:

I had pneumonia last year (obviously didn't know it was that, thought I had flu!), my lovely DD got fed up with me and got onto the docs as soon as they opened to try to get me an appointment and they said there was not one available for more than a week, she then asked for an emergency one, they said there was one available in two days! She refused to get off the phone until they finally gave in and gave her one for that day, apparently it was like pulling teeth! Got there for my appointment and got told off by doc for not going sooner (OK, maybe partly my fault, I do not get ill and assumed this was just flu and would go), asked him if he had ever tried to make an appointment :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: If we had listened to the receptionist I would have ended up seriously ill in hospital
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Think it will probably be a late one for me tonight, I am thinking too much.

Dawn insisted on a piercing on her eyebrow when she was about 16 . She doesn t have it now but it has left a small scar .

Just got an email from PayPal (I've checked & it's definitely PayPal, had a lot of scam emails) offering £10 off £40 at SADA's baby event, can I use APG online?

I got that email to but the £10 off can only be used with sada direct, I dont think you can use or get apgs on sada direct

Haven't been involved in the Whiskas glitch.

    :)

    Haven't got a pusssycat.

I'm sure some people would have bought to sell on for profit but not my kinda thing.

I may buy stuff in large quantities but only if I intend to use them; any excess, (by that I mean within a month or so BBE) I'll give to friends and neighbours.

Helps when you need the odd job around the house doing.

    ;)

    Gonna catch up now.

Or donate to the local cat charity. I have donated an assortment, including the senior and some kitten for the impending kitten season, to my local Cat's Protection and they were extremely grateful :)

Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

    What a great idea.

    :)

I had 2 cats fighting in the garden last week. Bits of fur were flying up in the air!

    And no...

...it wasn't me and the next door neighbour.
