    i did the whiskas...twice even though my fur ball doesnt eat wet food...I decided that I would do the decent thing and donate the food to the "box" in our local morrisoons which I have always walked past assuming it to be dogs and cats...
    Drove there this morning to find its dogs only so now have to find a local supermarket that has a collection box for cats....the closest one ive found when phoning supermarkets and enquiring this morning is 11 miles away in the next town...
    My good deed is starting to feel challenging but I will persevere!
    my local vet has collection boxes. that may be worth trying.

    SSM, have you managed to spend your v3 caRDS YET? If so, where please?

    I get mainly Asda ones but I also buy the highstreetvouchers as they are accepted in lots of places.

    Afternoon all

    I think its bonkers but can also on the other hand understand why they do it (isn't there targets to hit?).
    I needed an appointment for DD yesterday so you can either ring at 8am (an 0845 number! :eek: :mad: ) or turn up at 8 and queue.
    I take the second option as they serve the people in the queue before answering the phones. Earliest I got an appointment was at 4 o clock yesterday afternoon this way.
    It does make me wonder how many spare appointments they actually have first thing when they open.
    I'm lucky the docs is only 10 mins walk away.

    We need more GPs.

    We need more doctors in this country.

    They set up a few new medical school some years ago and there are increasing amounts of Indian, Pakistani and Eastern European doctors coming to work in this country. This was to try and increase the number of doctors in the UK; there is still a shortfall.

    Medicine is getting better; patients are living for longer.

    With the increase in numbers from the ageing population; things can only get worse.

    I have 50% of my slots free for emergencies on the day; they're booked by 08:01am.

    :eek:

    I drive past a few surgeries on the way to work; all have queues.

    :eek::(:eek:

    Is this why people go on embarrassing bodies, because they can't get GP appointments any more :cool:

    :rotfl::rotfl:

    Think I'd rather tell the receptionist rather than the nation.

    Just got an email from PayPal (I've checked & it's definitely PayPal, had a lot of scam emails) offering £10 off £40 at SADA's baby event, can I use APG online?
    apgs can only be used in the same way as you got them. ie got in store- use in store.
    got on line - use on line hth
